Bio Gracie C. McKeever is a local novelist from the Bronx and aside from several side trips along
the way has lived and worked her entire life in the New York City area. She has been writing since the ripe old age of seven when two younger brothers were among her earliest, captive audience for various short story readings and performances.

Her short stories, novellas and poetry have seen exposure in various lit and art magazines and other venues--online and in print. Of particular note, heard over the airwaves on KFJC's morning show, Dancing In The Fast Lane With Ann Arbor (Unbedtime Stories) out of Los Altos Hills, CA (NEW LIFE INCOGNITA was the story of the month for March 2000. MILES TO GO was the
story of the month for March 2001). She's also proud to be a member of the ("Worlds' Oldest Active Homeless Paper") Street News family and has seen numerous articles, poems and novel excerpts published within its pages as well as having had a poetry reading on Pseudo On-line Network (Street News Review).

What Reviewers Are Saying: Of DANCING IN THE DARK - Rickey R. Mallory, Award-winning author of TIME RIDER, for Affaire de Coeur (4 Stars) and Painted Rock: "Gracie McKeever has a no-nonsense way of writing that pulls the reader in from the first for characterization. DANCING IN THE DARK is a book you won't want to miss." A
Readers' Favorite Romance of 2000 for the TellTalePress Cupid Award

Of DESERT DREAMS -- Tina Wainscott, Golden-Heart Winner, author of Unforgivable: "Pull up a chair and get to know Therese and her family. McKeever makes you feel like you're one of the gang. Desert Dreams is a wonderful mix of romance, paranormal, and suspense that will have you clamoring for more of McKeever's unique stories. Don't miss it!" Quarter Finalist NCWA 2000, Category I - Novel Excerpts / Independent e-Book Award 2002 Nominee / Finalist,
WRW's Crystal Globe Awards 2002 - Best Overall Romance

Of FLAMES PAST - 4 Stars, Susan Mobley, Romantic Times: ".a superb paranormal romance. Neither the hero nor the heroine are perfect. They both have problems to face and work through, and they do it in a way that is quite believable. Echo's reasons for what she did are actually acceptable. Their son plays a major part in the story, adding a special touch. FLAMES PAST is
an admirable summer read." RT 2002 Award Nominee - Best Small Press Paranormal

Of MILES TO GO - Angela B. Mink Torres, 5 Stars, Simply Dreams: ".a mind blowing coming of age story that will leave you with goose bumps. Gracie McKeever takes you by the hand and leads you into her world. It's not a gentle journey. You hurt when Chris and Tori hurt, you cry when they cry and you laugh at their juvenile behavior, but deep down you feel as if you know them. Though set in the early nineties, they face the same trials and tribulations as teenagers
now, which adds yet another level of realism. Categorized in the young adult genre, but suitable for
adults and teens alike, Miles To Go is not a book for the faint-hearted reader, but the violence doesn't detract from the story line. If you can handle a hard hitting, gritty, down and dirty story that will leave you yearning for more after a completely shocking ending, Miles To Go is the story for you."

Of NEW LIFE INCOGNITA -- Kathy Boswell, 3 Stars, Romantic Times: "...complex and riveting story...thought-provoking new age book...enjoyed the good insight Gracie McKeever gave into the Wiccan religion." Finalist, First Annual Dream Realm Awards 2000 - Fantasy Category / Simply E-xcellence Award Winner (Editor's Choice) January 2001
